Jonathan Opinya is a classically trained vocalist, now based in Nairobi after finishing his studies at the Buchmann-Mehta School of Music in the Tel Aviv University, Israel under the tutelage of Agnes Masini. During his studies he was actively involved in The Moran Ensemble, The Gary Bertini Choir and The Swiss Friends of Tel Aviv University Chamber Choir. He has had the honor of performing with the likes of Maestro Zubin Mehta and The Rolling Stones, to name but a few. This is his cover of ‘My Funny Valentine’ performed at Engage28.
