Mariss Jansons (1943 – 2019)
We look back with pride and gratitude on al the wonderful concerts with maestro Mariss Jansons in The Concertgebouw, and what he meant for The Concertgebouw and The Concertgebouworkest. The music world has lost not only a great conductor but also a warm and humble man.
This is a fragment of his last concert in The Concertgebouw. Conducting Symphonieorchester des Bayerischen Rundfunks in Dvorak’s Symphony 9, the 4th movement: Allegro con fuoco on March 22, 2019.
