Multiple sexual assault allegations against Charles Dutoit, a famous conductor, have prompted symphonies from around the world to cut ties with the Swiss musician. The allegations of sexual misconduct or assault go back decades and were made by three opera singers and a classical musician. Dutoit served as the music director for the Montreal Symphony Orchestra for nearly 25 years until 2002.
