This is from the premiere of Fantasy on Vedic Chants by Dr. Subramaniam at Avery Fisher Hall, Lincoln Center, New York. The composition was commissioned by Maestro Mehta for the India Festival with the NY Philharmonic in 1985.
The video cuts a couple of times (once during the violin solo and once after), but I just discovered it on an old tape and wanted to share!
