Marie-Catherine Girod is an exceptional pianist. She currently teaches at the Ecole Normale de Paris founded by Alfred Cortot where she also studied and obtained her 1st prize. She spent six years studying the music of Mendelssohn. The result is immediately perceptible. Her complete works, recorded and published, are at the top of the ranking. Her interpretation of Romances sans paroles has been acclaimed by critics and the press.
