Winner 18th International Competition for Outstanding Piano Amateur in Paris. Playing Piano Concerto No.3 by Prokofiev with the Orchestre de la Garde Républicaine conducted by François Boulanger at the Sorbonne University in Paris was to a soled out audience. Concerts around the world were good reputation.
My life of the music has started since I was seven by the influence of my parents. Crossroad in my life was to select my major, the music or not. At that time, I was also interested in the biochemistry. A music university does not have a laboratory for the biochemistry, and it must be difficult to study the biochemistry by myself in music university, whereas it is possible to study the music even if I choose the biochemistry as a major. This was why I did not choose a music university. As the result, the life as an amateur pianist was correct for me. One of the reason is that I could meet 2 respectable teachers at the competition. One was in Japan and another was in Paris. They taught me a lot of new things about not only the music but also the life and my music was changed. Amateur music life have given me a lot of chance to meet the amateur pianists around the world.
1984 年 大阪府高槻市生まれ。
6歳でヤマハ幼児科にてエレクトーンを習い、7 歳よりピアノを始める。
大学進学の際に音大を目指したこともあるが、バイオサイエンスにも興味があったため、大学はその道を選択。立命館大学化学生物工学科で学びつつ、音楽についてはアマチュアとしての道を歩むことになる。大学では研究に没頭する傍ら、国内での様々なコンクールでの優勝をはじめ、各種コンサート活動も行う。
これまでの主な受賞歴として次のようなものがある。
2005年、PTNA グランミューズ部門Yカテゴリー全国大会、優勝。ノーヴイ国際音楽コンクール学生ピアノ部門、優勝。2007年、KOBE 国際音楽コンクールB部門、優勝。同年春には、フランス・パリで行われた第18 回国際グランドアマチュアピアノコンクールで日本人史上3人目として優勝し、CHOPIN （株式会社ショパン）、音楽現代（株式会社 芸術現代社）、ピアノの本（草思社クリエイティブ）、NHK ラジオ大阪に取り上げられる。
その後、パリのSorbonne大学で、Orchestre de la Garde Republicaine (指揮：Francois Boulanger ）とプロコフィエフのピアノ協奏曲第3番を共演し好評を得る。2008年3月に、イギリス・ケンブリッジ大学・Darwin collage でコンサート、4月にはアメリカ・ワシントンD.C. メキシコ大使館にて、Washington International Piano Arts Council (WIPAC)主催のリサイタルを行い、その模様がWashington Post に取り挙げられる。
2008年、PTNAデュオ2 台部門 全国大会、優勝。
これまでに国内をはじめ、中国、ドイツ等でコンサートを行っており、いずれも好評を得ている。
立命館大学大学院 理工学研究科を修了後、現在は臨床開発職で新薬開発の仕事に携わる傍ら、国内外を問わず、特に国内においては”アマチュア”という既成概念を覆すことを目標に、アマチュアピアニストとして活躍中。
