A live concert performance at Prague Autumn by brilliant flutist, Pamela Guidetti, a protégé of Marcel Moyse, with Concerto Soloists Chamber Orchestra of Philadelphia, Marc Mostovoy, conductor.
A former winner of the Concert Artists Guild Competition, Pamela Guidetti was presented in her New York concert debut at Carnegie Recital Hall and has since performed throughout the United States in such places as Town Hall, Merkin Concert Hall, The Kennedy Center, The Library of Congress and Marlboro. Several European tours have taken her to solo venues in such cities as Vienna, Berlin, Cologne, Zurich and Moscow. She was a featured soloist at Prague’s International Music Festival and has also performed in England, South America, Canada and the Canary Islands. She was the Chamber Orchestra of Philadelphia’s principal flutist for 20 years and performs with Orchestra 2001 and Lenape Chamber Ensemble. Recorded on the RCA, CRI, Capstone and Albany labels, she also has numerous solo radio and television credits including WQXR and WNYC (New York), WGBH (Boston) as well as NBC’s “Today” show.
