Meet Nathan Chan, a cellist in the San Francisco Symphony Youth Orchestra. Led by SF Symphony Associate Conductor Donato Cabrera, the SFSYO provides a tuition free orchestral program for talented youth ages 11-20 from Northern California. With coaching from members of the San Francisco Symphony, rehearsals and performances in Davies Symphony Hall and international tours, this ensemble ranks among the most respected of its kind in the world.
